We provide structured training programmes for H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITNs). The programme focuses on delivering transferable skills courses for the participating scientists and, at the same time, fulfilling the ITN evaluation criteria. By providing trainings for several ITN networks and being involved as partner organisation, we have gained experience and identified successful training schemes.
The H2020 MSCA ITNs are excellent opportunities to target researchers at an early career stage as well as their supervisors. Our key role in the project will be to organise workshops on transferable skills for Early Stage Researchers (ESRs). In parallel, we will run leadership training sessions for involved PIs. Providing relevant courses for PIs on how to mentor students will feed back on the professional development of ESRs and increase the impact of the overall training. The programme will help to foster the collaboration and scientific exchange among researchers of the ITN community, thus contributing to the scientific excellence of the ITN projects. Researchers can strongly benefit from the training programme for both their actual work in research and for their future careers.
