Leadership and management skills for group leaders
Trainers

Purpose
- improve communication, collaboration and leadership skills
- understand how to reach career goals:
- More efficiently (doing things right)
- More effectively (doing the right thing)
- learn how to enable / empower others to do good science
- improve (self-) organisational skills
- exchange experiences as leaders in science
- learn how to better lead individual and group processes
- strengthen the network and collaboration within the organisation
- be encouraged to establish and maintain a peer support group

- this course is for group leaders
- we adjust our course modules to the needs of the course participants
- we work in a process oriented manner
- the course is conducted in a interactive style
- each module begins with an introduction by the trainers, followed by breakout activities in small groups
Follow up course
We strongly believe that professional and personal growth needs continuous effort. We know from experience we’ve had with numerous workshop groups that impact and sustainability are highly increased if the participants are exposed to a follow up training. This is why we offer this advanced course to group leaders who attended one of our previous LMSC workshop. Participants will get together to further extend their knowledge with new subjects and work on specific case studies.
